Although both stage truss electric hoists and stage truss hand chain hoists belong to stage truss hoisting equipment, with the core function of lifting and lowering equipment such as lamps and audio systems, they differ significantly in the design logic of their power systems and performance.

Stage truss electric hoists (electric-powered):
Electrically driven, with a mechanized core. The motor operates to drive the reduction gear set (which reduces speed and increases torque), and then transmits power through the chain wheel or steel wire rope drum to realize the lifting of the hook. The entire process requires no human intervention, and the power transmission is automatically completed by the mechanical structure. Moreover, the motor power can be matched according to the load requirements (such as 1.5kW, 3kW, etc.), ensuring sufficient power for heavy-weight hoisting.
Stage truss hand chain hoists (manual):
Manually driven, with purely mechanical transmission. They rely entirely on human power to pull the manual chain (usually a round link chain). The operator provides power by repeatedly pulling the chain, and the chain tension is amplified by the mechanical structure to drive the hoisting action. When pulling the chain, the chain drives the driving sprocket to rotate, and through gear meshing (mostly planetary gear or worm gear structure), the human power is amplified (the transmission ratio can reach 1:10 or even higher, meaning that pulling 1 meter of the chain causes the hook to rise only 0.1 meter, thus enabling a small force to drive a large weight), ultimately driving the hoisting chain or steel wire rope to lift and lower.
The core difference between the two stems from the essential distinction between "electric drive" and "manual drive": stage truss electric hoists are the core equipment for mechanized and automated hoisting on the stage, while hand chain hoists are simple tools that rely on human power, each playing an irreplaceable role in different scenarios.
